Deanship of Student Affairs
The Deanship of Student Affairs strives to enrich the student’s experience outside the classroom as a person, scholar, and a citizen, by offering a plethora of extra-curricular activities, events, and Units dedicated to serve the student’s overall needs in the University. The Deanship of Student Affairs has five Units under its’ leadership which are: Guidance and Counselling Unit, Academic Supervision Unit, Student Activities Unit, Student services Unit, and Co-operative Education and alumni Relations Unit. Firstly, the Guidance and Counselling Unit fosters the student’s non-academic requirements, and needs, by offering psychological and social services for the student.
Secondly, the Academic supervision Unit helps guide, and solve the student’s Academic complications, for instance: assisting with low GPA, absences, and Make-up exams. Thirdly, the Student Activities Unit is responsible for organizing extra-curricular activities, and overall events such as: the International Culture day. Fourthly, the Student services Unit provides the student with tutoring opportunities, part-time jobs, lockers, and University ID cards.
Finally, the Co-operative Education and Alumni Relations Unit acts as an intermediary between the student, who is eligible for co-op, and the corporation, who is interested in training the student, moreover, the Unit also keeps in touch with the University’s Alumni, by several means, one of which is providing Alumni ID cards, which enables the graduate to have several advantages such as: access to the University’s campus and participation in extra-curricular activities.
The deanship of Student Affairs supports students in their academic, social, cultural, and personal development, thereby enabling them to contribute to the advancement of PSU campus and the global society. To these ends, the Deanship strives to offer remarkable experiences that give meaning and vitality to each individual’s Journey of learning, discovery, and engagement.

The Deanship of Student Affairs comprises a number of Units designated for serving the University students, offering them relevant services and providing a variety of programs and activities. Among the aims of these Units are enhancing students' knowledge and broadening their perspectives, assisting students to expand their horizons and gain useful experience, training students to become socially responsible, offering students the opportunity to practice their activities of interest and equipping students with varied skills and positive values in the light of the University's bylaws and regulations.
