A Co-operation Agreement was signed on 26th November between Prince Sultan University & Kansas State University

A delegation from Kansas State University visited Prince Sultan University on 25th and 26th of November 2006 to review a number of issues of common interest.

This two day visit was successfully concluded by the signing of the Memorandum of a Understanding. ( MOU )

This MOU outlines six main areas of co-operation:

• Collaborative Research Projects
• Student Exchange Programmes
• Study Abroad Programmes
• Visiting Faculty Programmes
• Joint Degree Programmes
• Twinning Programmes

It was also agreed that implementation of this MOU will start with the Study Abroad Programme. PSU will send up to ten students to Kansas State University for one year of study, effective from August 2007.

The Study Abroad Programme will enable PSU students to spend one full academic year at K-State. Here they will study the equivalent of 34 credit hours; these will then be validated by PSU.
