The First Annual Meeting of Advisory Board of the College of Business Administration for the Academic year 2011/2012
The Advisory Board of the College of Business Administration holds its first Annual Meeting for the Academic year 2011/2012. The meeting was on 16th of January 2012 (Monday) at 11 A.M at Prince Salman Hall (Administrative Building). The members who have attended the meeting are:

Dr.Syed Zamberi: New Publication about Women Entrepreneurs in Saudi Arabia
Dr. Syed Zamberi Ahmad – a faculty member of College of Business Administration- issued a study about particular women's entrepreneurship issues. His study is published in International Journal of Gender and Entrepreneurship with title “Evidence of the characteristics of women entrepreneurs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: An empirical investigation”. The study aims to explore some of women entrepreneurship activities in Saudi Arabia. The finding of his study is that the Saudi women entrepreneurs were found to exhibit many similarities with their counterparts in other Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region countries in terms of their personality traits. However, they differed in other aspects such as their educational backgrounds and the manner in which they acquired entrepreneurial skills. The findings suggest some strategies to contribute to greater success rates for women entrepreneurs in Islamic countries. More information about the paper can be obtained from:
