Message from the Dean

On behalf of the PSU administration, faculty, staff and students we welcome you to the College of Computer and Information Sciences (CCIS) webpage. As one of the pillars of the University, the CCIS diligently seeks to stimulate, challenge and inspire its students with cutting-edge science honed by practical application. Toward this end, the College continually upgrades its technical resources and facilities.

Recently the College added two new laboratories: one in the area of Networking Security and the other in the area of Unified Communication Systems. Our Administration provides the College with what it takes to convert it into a 'smart' one. Our faculty members are dynamic and ready to make necessary changes on the road of prosperity. Our primary job is teaching and we take it seriously not because we have to, but because we love to. And we are proud to say that the product of our love and labor, the CCIS graduates, are in high demand in the Kingdom and in the region..

 Mission

As a participant in the academic mission of the PSU, the College of Computer and Information Sciences is committed to producing a distinctive class of high-quality graduates. These graduates will possess a sound academic background in the fundamental knowledge skills, which will enable them to become skilled IT professionals and leaders in the field.

The CCIS is dedicated to fostering critical thinking, excellence in performance, and high ethical standards, thereby preparing young men and women from our community for fulfilling careers in industry, government, academia and for advanced graduate studies.
