Rules and Regulations
1. INFORMATION:
All necessary information for the PE courses (syllabus, grading policy, handout
materials for written exam) student should download from PSU website:
www.psu.edu.sa
2. ATTIRE:
In the interest of health and safety student must dress appropriately for all
classes. For the game sports t-shirts, tracksuits-shorts and non-marking
trainers are acceptable. For swimming students will need swim shorts or long
costume, towel, pool sandals. It’s also recommended swim cap and goggles for the
students with long hair and sensitive eyes. Outdoor clothing, street shoes are
prohibited in all PE facilities. Students will be not allowed to attend the
classes without appropriate dress.
3. PUNCTUALITY:
All classes begin at the advertised time and the attendance will be taken at the
beginning of every class. Any student who comes to class after 5 minutes will be
marked – ABSENT.
4. ATTENDANCE RULES:
Regardless of student’s grade in the class work a student who misses 8(eight)
classes will be automatically receive a Failing grade (“F”). Catch up lessons
will only be offered within the timeframe permitted by university automated
system for attendance (2 weeks). No late catch ups will be allowed.
5. EXCUSES ARE NOT ALLOWED
Students are required to attend all classes starting from the first day of the
semester. Any excuses from students for missing classes, including medical
reasons will be not allowed. A student is responsible for his attendance in
accordance with the rules and limits determined by the university and any
absence will be counted against the student’s allowable limit. The faculty
member in charge of the class will try to accommodate an injured or unwell
student within reason with activities to be done within the class. The student
must be in the class to get credit for their attendance.
6. GRADES:
Course Syllabus includes grading policy. Student should download syllabus from
PSU website: www.psu.edu.sa
7. EQUIPMENT:
All equipment is provided by the University must be respected by all students
and used only under instructor supervision. Students will be responsible for any
damage.
8. PROBLEMS:
If the student has any problems with the course, instructor then he should
discuss this with the instructor, director or advisor. Not attending the class
will simply result in DN grade being issued.
9. PERSONAL BELONGINGS:
PEHRD staff not responsible for any loss of the student’s personal belongings
during PE classes.
