Al-Fitr
Coverage: Tariq Hassan
Prince Sultan University organized on Saturday,
26/9/2009 at Prince Salman Meetings Hall, a greeting
ceremony for the employees of the University on the
occasion of Eid Al-Fitr. At the beginning of the
meeting, Eid Greetings were exchanged, then Dr.
Ahmed Bin Saleh Al-Yamani gave a congratulation
speech to the University employees. He urged
everyone to exert more efforts for the advancement
of the educational process and maintain the
excellence of PSU. He also congratulated the new
faculty members and administrative staff who have
recently joined the University, wishing them success
and to be a real addition to the University. The
audience then had a breakfast with the rector and
the vice-rectors of the University prepared
specially for this occasion.
This ceremony is an annual habit of the University
which aims at deepening the bonds of intimacy,
familiarity and communication between the staff of
the University, and to make them participate in the
joy which prevails in the Kingdom and the Islamic
countries on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.
It’s worth mentioning that the ceremony of greeting
this year coincided with the celebrations of the
Kingdom of the Seventy-ninth anniversary of the
unification of the Kingdom by the late King
Abdul-Aziz – may God bless and rest his soul – and
the opening of King Abdullah University of Science
and Technology, which will be among its first
graduates a group of PSU male and female students.
