Academic Year 2006-2007 PSU (Men's & Women's Colleges) in Riyadh,
Saudi Arabia has opportunities for
well-qualified, committed and experienced
faculty members. It invites applications for
faculty to start in January and September each
year. Applicants should be willing to teach in a
highly structured intensive program to which
they are encouraged to contribute ideas and
materials. Applicants should have a proven
background of excellence in research and
publications. They should also have experience
of providing leadership in teaching in an
academic environment. The medium of instruction
in all disciplines is English.
Qualifications:-
1. Doctorate or Master's degree in any of the
following specializations.
* Computer Science & Information Systems
* Finance, Marketing & Accounting
* Linguistics, Computational Linguistics,
Applied Linguistics (TESL / TEFL),
Translation (Arabic <> English)
* Physical Science
* Interior Design Engineering
* Art
* Law
* Mathematics
* Physical Education
2. Minimum of two years college level teaching
experience, in reputable learning institutions.
3. Basic computer skills.
4. High English language proficiency.
5. Experience with or interest in alternative
instructional modes, such as web based or online
instruction, multi-media system, etc
* one full year postgraduate diploma in TEFL/TESL
from a recognized University is accepted for
teaching the Preparatory English Program
Salary and Benefits: The University is
located in north-central Riyadh. Competitive
salary based on academic qualifications and
teaching experience in one’s specialized field.

coverage for the employee & dependents residing
within the Kingdom; transport allowance; air
tickets for up to four persons to Riyadh on
appointment and upon final departure from KSA to
country of origin; round trip tickets for annual
leave with paid annual (summer) vacation of two
