Architecture Department academic field trip to the At-Turaif District

On Sunday, September 28, 2025, Prince Sultan University organized an academic field trip to the At-Turaif District in Diriyah, under the supervision of Dr. Salma Dwidar, Dr. Monica Moscatelli, and Dr. Amani Salman. This trip was part of a broader study focused on Najdi heritage and its analysis, offering students a unique opportunity to engage directly with one of the most prominent UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The educational experience was carried out in collaboration with the Diriyah Company through a collaborative studio designed to deepen students’ understanding of Najdi architecture and the region’s cultural history, while allowing them to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world context.
