The Varsity Sports Program was
further developed under the leadership of Mr.
Goward. Regular practices and training schedule of
PSU Sports Varsity team are held regularly after
school hours to give the students a chance to
participate without sacrificing their academic
duties.
The PSU Sports Varsity Teams participated in the 1st
dual meet against the College of Physical Education
of Riyadh in early 2006. The Basketball, Volleyball
and Swimming Teams had their first sample of
University level sports competition with the
swimming team taking the over-all championship
title. The swimmers received individual awards as
they set best time records in freestyle, backstroke,
and relays.
The PSU Sports Varsity Program is growing bigger and
better with the dedication and cooperation of the
coaches and the coaching staff. The support and
inspiration of the students, administration and the
Students’ Affair Center play significant roles in
achieving the goals of the PSU Varsity Athletic
Program.
