Prince Sultan University – College for Women plans to
organize the 2nd Annual Career Day on 4th
and 5th of May 2008.
Career Day is an event where our employers are invited
to exhibit their organizational information, students
interact with the employers. Displays are created to
project the students and faculty team work and
leadership skills and employers receive the CV’s of
students for current and prospective positions in their
organizations.
The Career Day planning is a great challenge to achieve
and the career day team works with great dedication and
commitment to meet the objectives and success of the
activities before the main event and at the main event.
We believe that
career day is not just an opportunity to hire or be hired for jobs in an
organization. We consider this event a marketing event, networking event and
recruiting event as well.
This year our theme is based on “Celebrating Great
Leadership”. We strongly believe that a student’s
great success is not just the academics that she
acquires during the educational institute but a great
percentage of the success and growth in her career
planning and at workplace is based on the people skills
as well. These 21st century skills have
changed the businesses environment, employer’s school of
thought and professional’s image at the corporate
sector. Therefore keeping that in mind we have designed
and will be creating many workshops based on this aspect
and various displays will portray the intended outcome
as well.
The expected career day activities are as follows:

Formal Presentation is designed by the Career Day team and will be delivered to
our selective and
distinguished management of
organizations at 9th December
2007. |

Student’s workshops which will be attended by the PSU-CW students and students
from outside as well. |

3- |
Parent’s session will be attended by our
student’s parents as a Resource for
parent’s workshop. |

4- |
Leadership
workshop will be presented by
knowledgeable and influential presenters
of the corporate sector and the intended
audience is PSU-CW entire audience, our
career day employers and community
members. |

Employer
Information session is designed to give the career day employers an opportunity
to represent their company to our higher management, faculty and administrative
members of PSU-CW . |
