2- How to Calculate My 'GPA' ?

The Student GPA is calculated by dividing  the  total course points  from each course taken during a semester by the total course units taken that semester . The points are  calculated by multiplying  the units of one course to the grade's weight .

Example:

Course Credit Units Grade Grade's Weight Points
ISC 301 2 85 B+ 3.5 7
CHEM 324 3 70 C 2.0 6
MATH 235 3 92 A 3.75 11.25
PHY 312 4 80 B 3.0 12
Total 12       36.25

Total of points=Credit Units * Grade's weight

First Semester Average = Total of points(36.25)/Total of units(12)

                                 =3.02

Course Credit Units Grade Grade's Weight Points
ISC 104 2 96 A+ 4.0 8
CHEM 327 3 83 B 3.0 9
MATH 314 4 71 C 2.0 8
PHY 326 3 81 B 3.0 9
Total 12       34

First Semester Average = Total of points(34)/Total of units(12)

                                 = 2.83

GPA=Total of points(36.25+34)/Total of units(12+12)

      = 2.93
