CAREER EXPO STUDENTS WORKSHOPS
Career expo workshops coordinated by CSCEC, Student development and counselling unit.
Employer sessions will be designed on the 27th May Career expo '09 day.
Orientation session will be held on the career expo day. The session is organized by the PSU-CW CSCEC OFFICE
CSCEC has signed an agreement with the LANDMARK PR & EVENTS Company for coordinating the PR and Media service for the Career Expo 2009 at the college for women.
"CSCEC office has signed the agreement with "Batola for Organising Domestic and International Exhibition" as an event management company for the CAREER EXPO 2009 for college for women"
CSCEC is organising faculty and administration professional development workshops in coordination with Al Faisal Academy for the career expo 2009.
CSCEC office has recruited at team of talented students as the student ambassadors for the career expo 2009
CSCEC in collaboration with Expo Alliance Sponsor AL FAISAL ACADEMY is organizing 2 significant professional development workshops on Time and Stress Management and Communication skills.

CSCEC and Dr Eulalee Nderu ( IDE dept faculty) and Ms Rania Monla ( GC dept faculty) are organizing "Ethical Standards and Criteria's for Teachers Evaluation" workshops for a focused faculty group.

STUDENTS' WORKSHOPS


CSCEC in coordination with Student development and counselling unit is organizing 2 effective sessions on 11th – 12th May as students workshops. The workshop is titled as “'Developing Lifelong Skills for the World of Work'. The workshops are of great benefit to the students to learn and experience the basic skills of writing resumes & interviewing skills. These 2 significant aspects of recruiting are a great challenge to the students and they can focus on the making the right resume and marketing their skills professionally and effectively to be the right candidate for an organization.

The workshop is being conducted by Maureen Frank, ELT consultant, British council, Riyadh. Maureen Franks has been involved in education since 1973.She has worked in the UK, Brunei Darussalam, Dubai and now the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Maureen has worked in Primary, Secondary, Vocational and University sectors as a principal, curriculum writer, teacher trainer, manager and mentor. She believes in learner autonomy and lifelong learning and brings a positive attitude to all that she does.

Dear Presenters & Participants,

On behalf of the CSCEC Expo Team I would like to thank Dr. Eulalee Nderu and Ms. Rania Monla for conducting very effective and informative workshop on "Ethical Standards and Criteria's for Teachers Evaluation" on May 17th, 2009. The workshop was attended by each department nominated faculty, department chairs and coordinators.
