This centre encourages all types of research, coordinates
activities, seeks to establish strong links with society
organization and gradually builds a strong resource base. This
centre invites and welcomes any research project from any part
of world and also provides them necessary grants at their
completion.
This centre is extensively active in building relationship with
the private and government sector to provide consultation in
order to participate in solving real world problems in the field
of Business and Computer Science. This centre has also achieved
an award of excellence for outstanding research work.
The necessary regulations for the center are:
1-The research center is authorized to conduct research, studies
and provide consultation services for corresponding financial
returns specified in the budget of each project.
2-The research center council is the entity responsible for
specifying the remunerations of researchers, consultants and
other types of participants with the accordance of the specific
signed contract for the project.
3-Research center consist mainly of the yield of the services it
provides and the budget allocated by the university and other
donations from outside.
4-Authors or translators of each book published by the center
are paid a remuneration of up to SR 30,000 (thirty thousand
Riyals) after accepting the book and publishing it.
5- Incentive Based Projects researchers are paid a remuneration
of SR5000 on completing and accepting the project and another SR
5000 if at least one paper is published from the project.
6-A faculty member has the right to apply for attending two
conferences per academic year: one local and one international,
on the condition that he is presenting an accepted refereed
paper in each of them. The university covers the cost of travel
to the city in which the conference is held plus registration
fees and the cost of stay for the period of the conference.
7- The research center has the right to spend on its
infrastructure and the resources required by research
activities.
8- The center has the right to seek the help and cooperation of
consultants and researchers from outside the university and
compensate them according to the recommendations of the research
center council under the regulations of the university.
