Foundations of Teaching in Higher Education Time and Place Tuesday, 10th November, 2009 12:15 – 1:00 PM Room E108 (MBA) Speaker Dr Patrick Halloran College of Computer & Information Sciences Abstract This seminar begins a series of Faculty workshops introducing participants to basic conceptions of teaching and learning in higher education. This workshop will focus on understanding different approaches to teaching and learning particularly with regard to today’s generation of students. The workshop will also explore the complexity of assessment and feedback, and the practices of constructive alignment.
