What Prince Sultan University (P.S.U.)
coordinated a charity drive to benefit the
Disabled Children’s Association (DCA).
Why PSU is looking to play a leadership role in
the city by creating opportunities for linkages
between its student body and the local
community. We believe in developing strong
leaders for the future that graduate with a
sense of civic responsibility. The university
also wishes to play its role in promoting health
for both its students and the wider civilian
population.

How There were three sections to the event.
Community Fun Walk: This section of the event
started at 4pm. The disabled and the community
walked together in an effort to make them feel
like part of the community.
Special Handicapped race/events: At 6:20pm we
had small races for the handicapped.
Community Fun Run: At 8pm we had a fun run road
race – distance 4.4 km.
