During this semester, Prince Sultan University
has started two continuing education courses
through the Center of Community Services and
Continuing Education.
The Dean of Students Affairs and Community
Services, Dr. Abdulhamid Al-Abduljabbar, stated
that the first course was a short course in
information technology, which it was provided to
engineers of the Advanced Electronics Company.
The course which was under the title “Service
Oriented Architectures and Web Services”
lasted
for one week was conducted by Professor Mohammed
A. El-Affendi, of the College of Computer
Sciences.
The second program is "An Incentive English
language course" to some officers from General
Security Department of the Ministry of Interior.
The course is going to for three months and is
being conducted by faculty of the English
Language Department.
Dr. Abduljabbar also stated that all programs
conducted by the Center of Community Service and
Continuing Education are subject to evaluation
of the participants in order to improve the
programs. These programs fall under the strategy
of PSU to provide quality training and
development programs to different sector of
society, as part of the university mission and
responsibility.
