Work starting on the students’ lobby in the university

After approval by his Highness Prince Dr. Abdul Aziz Bin Mohammed Bin Ayaf, construction works started in the lobby for male students as in the girl’s college lobby, which was completed late last year. The project has been awarded to one of the national institutions after the tender provided by many construction companies. Construction is to be finished within 18 months.

The lobby is located in the south-western side of the current building of the University in Saladin district. The lobby total area is around 3200 sqm. It consists of four floors as follows:
1- Ground floor: contains the main entrance and main plaza (the lobby), Deanship of Acceptance and Registration, Deanship of Student Affairs, in addition to the multipurpose hall.
2- First floor: contains (16) classrooms, a restaurant for students, and some empty support areas.
3- Second floor: contains classrooms for Graduate Program, the Office of the Dean of Graduate Studies, and some empty support areas.
4- Third floor: contains the office of the Rector of the university, vice-rector offices, the main conference hall, and a hall for guests.

It is worth mentioning that the project will be using the latest conventions for all services such as electricity, conditioning systems, television linking systems, as well as an internal network linked to the building halls and presentation screens with the use of remote control in all mechanical and electrical systems (BMS).
It also takes into account the internal design of the building using the latest finishing materials of stainless steel, glass, marble and other materials of the highest level to reflect the superior level of the University of Prince Sultan, and reflect the level of the projected University City.
