Training Programs
TAC provides high-quality training opportunities that prepare students for the translation profession using modern tools, practical tasks, and AI-assisted workflows. Programs are open to PSU translation students and to trainees from other universities through the cooperative training track.

1. Translation Training Program (for PSU Students)
Program Goals
- Strengthen translation accuracy and linguistic competence
- Build critical thinking and analytical skills
- Develop the ability to handle real translation tasks
- Master editing, proofreading, and terminology research
- Use CAT tools and AI-assisted translation tools effectively
What Students Learn
- Source-text analysis
- Translation of short to complex texts
- Grammar, structure, and style refinement
- Technology use: MT, CAT tools, online corpora
- Quality assurance and revision techniques
Eligibility
- PSU students (College of Humanities & Sciences)
- Priority for senior-level translation students
- Higher GPAs receive priority
Assessment

2. Cooperative Training Program (for External Universities)

Program Goals

- Build professional confidence and communication skills

Training Tasks Include
- Translation (Arabic ↔ English)
- Editing & proofreading
- Administrative support
- Content design
- Social media content management
Eligibility
- Translation major
- Required documents:
- University letter
- Academic transcript
- Updated CV
- Passing TAC interview + admission test
- Priority for students with high GPAs
Assessment
- Regular attendance (no more than 3 unexcused absences)
- Translation quality and improvement
- Professional attitude and commitment
- Continuous feedback from supervisors
