Innovation for a technology-driven sustainable future

Digital Universities MENA will be organized by the Times Higher Education and hosted by Prince Sultan University (PSU), Riyadh, KSA. Prince Sultan University (PSU) aims to expose the latest research and practices in the Arab Middle East and North Africa at this conference by promoting the exchange of ideas, encouraging mentorship, and interdisciplinary collaboration in line with technological advances in innovative education for a sustainable society in the Kingdom under the umbrella of the Saudi Vision 2030.

THE Digital Universities MENA will gather education leaders, policymakers, and industry partners to discuss how universities in the region can implement digital transformation and internationalization to meet the requirements of students and society and move to the forefront of the digital economy.

The event will highlight innovative start-ups and the most recent technology designed to expedite the change in education in the coming decade. Interactive sessions will be led by participants that explore the role of online learning in building transferable skills and expanding opportunities to engage with industry and employers at the curriculum level.

It will allow national and international scholars, speakers and leaders to present novel initiatives and strategies to the audience. In addition, it will provide a platform for discussion to bring new and emerging technologies that will support a future vision of digital-first higher education and a sustainable revolutionized knowledge economy. Finally, it aims to bring together high-profile international researchers and industry pioneers.

THE Digital Universities MENA will comprise oral sessions, keynote speeches, technical workshops, panel discussions, and networking by addressing the main domains of future trends in IT leadership for higher education, pedagogical innovation such as AR and VR and the future of immersive learning, digital transformation strategies for an innovative, sustainable campus, quality assurance and support academic mobility in the digital era, future trends in IT leadership for higher education, digital transformation in student services.
