PSU Organizes Model United Nations from the 26th until the 28th of September

The university organizes Model United Nations (MUN) for the first time from the 26th until the 28th of September, with the participation of 80 male and female students from Saudi universities and a number of high school students. The conference is under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Alyamani, PSU Rector. It aims to provide an exciting and interactive learning experience about UN work, as it trains the participants on how to carry out negotiations and discussions to achieve a practice note to solve the current global issues. The conference also helps in developing students' leadership through this practical learning experience simulating the UN. MUN further trains students on how to solve various political, economic, social, humanitarian, and developmental issues adopted by the UN. When it comes to skills, students can learn research and writing skills, public speaking, logical thinking, team work, and negotiation and leadership skills. Moreover, they can learn about the challenges of international relations, UN meetings, and contribute to forming ideas on how to solve the current issues.
