Vision

  • Seek to establish agreements between legal offices and the Law Club and support its programs.
  • Contribute in introducing the College of Law and its students at Prince Sultan University.
  • Clarify the specialty of law club students.
  • Help University students to make wise decisions in their legal profession.

Mission

Seek to assist law students by increasing their knowledge of law and necessary skills through the experience and knowledge of legal professionals and help qualifying them after graduation to avoid difficulties in their careers. In addition to allow communicating with Law students on issues related to their studies.

Events Organized by the Club

Legal Talk Show

Legal advisor, Mr. Hani Al-Enezi, spoke about his career in law from the media perspective, and the legal advisor, Mr. Saad Al-Subaie, a former member of the security campaign, also shared with the audience his experience in law of sports and its future on the long-term.

A lecture entitled “Criminal Psychology and its Judicial Applications”

by Legal Counsel Mr. Muhammad Al-Wahaibi. The attendees received free courses and certificates of attendance from the club.

Participating in the International Law Day Exhibition

The Law Club aims to is to guide students interested in the specialization of law, hence, the club has formed a special committee that prepared a complete study plan, including the specialized tracks in the last year and features for each track. The committee has also prepared answers to frequently asked questions and problems that may arise from students may apply for the major. Attendees were introduced to the Law Club and registration was opened for new members.

A lecture on lawyer skills, by Attorney Muhammad Al-Baiz

Attorney Muhammad discussed the most important skills a lawyer should have and the importance of marketing in the legal career with ethical limits. In addition, he discussed the pros and cons of criminal law as a specialty.

International Commercial Arbitration Practice

The meeting hosted Ms. Nadia Smahi, LL.M., a Swiss- qualified attorney and discussed her practice on counseling work in international and domestic arbitration, as well as cross-border and domestic litigation. She represents clients and acts as arbitrator and secretary to arbitral tribunals in numerous arbitral proceedings, both ad hoc and institutional, in various areas. She also represents and advises clients in civil litigation proceedings, including in relation to the challenge, recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards and court decisions in Switzerland.
