The department of architecture at Prince Sultan University is proud to announce that “AlSarab”, a visionary landscape proposal by Teaching assistants; Ms. Alanoud Aljabal and Ms. Alaa Arabi has won First Place in Unrealized Landscape Award at the Cairo Design Award 2025.
Inspired by the desert mirage (al‑sarab), the project reimagines AlUla’s heritage wells, qanawat, and dams into an immersive carved journey that reflects resilience, discovery, and the timeless human search for water.
This recognition affirms the department’s commitment to bridging heritage with innovation, and highlights the creative impact of our faculty on regional and global design conversations.
