We are delighted to announce the well-deserved recognition of Dr. Moustafa M. Nasralla, from Smart Systems Engineering Lab, for his exceptional contributions to open science. Collaborating with Elsevier, Dr. Nasralla authored two impactful open access articles between 2020–2022, one directly addressing the UN Sustainable Development Goals. His recent work, "Area and energy efficient shift and accumulator unit for object detection in IoT applications," aligns with SDG 7 and 11, showcasing a commitment to sustainable energy, and sustainable cities. This recognition not only celebrates his individual success but also recognized our university's dedication to fostering research that addresses global challenges and contributes to a more collaborative, inclusive, and transparent academic sector.
