The impact of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will require changes in business attitudes and behaviours. For example, in support of the UN SDGs agenda 2030, CSR Europe is setting the foundations for being the European Business Hub for the SDGs. CSR Europe engages and supports over 10,000 enterprises already active in 41 CSR National Partners Organisations (https://www.csreurope.org).
Special Issue "Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Developing Countries: Current Trends and Development"
Prof. Mohammad Nurunnabi July 07,2022This Special Issue is designed to spotlight contemporary research on corporate social responsibility (CSR) in developing countries, with preference given to research emphasizing local or context. Previous research on CSR has been focused principally based on the western contexts in the last 40 years. The Special Issue will, therefore, provide an opportunity for contributors to spotlight their contributions to the broad fields of business, economics, political science, law accounting, finance, marketing, supply chain, international business and management are all welcome. The following themes would be of particular interest (NB: this list is not exhaustive):

Despite the enormous challenges COVID-19 poses, he argues it should be seen as an opportunity for reform of their corporate governance structure.
Impact of COVID-19: How CEOs Respond to SMEs Recovery Planning in Saudi Arabia

This report presents an analysis of the findings from the interviews of chief executive officers (CEOs) of 111 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Saudi Arabia. Three key areas are highlighted: a) challenges that SMEs in Saudi Arabian businesses are facing due to the COVID-19 pandemic; b) the impact of the COVID-19 health crisis on their businesses; and c) their recovery plans to sustain in their business.
The Impact of COVID-19 on SME in Saudi Arabia: A Large-Scale Survey

The General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises conducted a large-scale survey of 918 MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) from Riyadh, Makkah, Madinah, Qassim, Eastern Region, Asir, Tabouk, Hail, Northern Border, Jazan, Najran, Al-Baaha, and Al-Jowf.
Impact of Covid-19 and SME Employment in Saudi Arabia

The number of job creation in Saudi Arabia for SME in March 2020 has been decreased by 59%. However, the net employment (job creation) in March 2020 is 37,432.

Research in the context of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in the developed and developing world: Evidence from the past 15 years
To address global challenges and improve economic, social, and environmental outcomes of planetary health, 193 countries have committed to the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The 2030 Agenda for the United Nations Sustainable Development gives equal prominence to developed countries and developing countries. The implementation of the SDGs demands coherent collaboration to transform society across all levels of income regions and continents. Yet, there has been little focus on SDG-related research around the world and covering all fields of research.
