A Delegation of the College of Law at Georgetown University Visits Prince Sultan University

A delegation from College of Law at Georgetown University visited PSU recently. The delegation was headed by Professor Willam Trainor, Executive Vice President of Georgetown University and Dean of the College of Law. The delegation was received by Dr. Ahmed Al Yamani, the University President. The ceremony, which was held at the university's main building, was attended by His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Tuwaijri, Dean of the College of Law.

 

The visiting delegation included: Professor Craig Hoffman, Chris Bean - Director of Alumni Center and International Interaction, Alison Trainor, and number of PSU Law graduates and Georgetown University graduates. A short meeting was held between the two parties to discuss ways of joint cooperation that serves the legal community in the Kingdom. After that, souvenirs were presented to the guests.

 

In the evening, a dinner gala was held for the visiting delegation, during which Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Tuwaijri, Dean of the College of Law, welcomed the delegation of Georgetown University to Prince Sultan University. He stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness Crown Prince, is experiencing a renaissance at all aspects, which will benefit the entire world. In addition, he mentioned that the Kingdom's initiatives play an important role in preserving the environment, and increasing the use of sustainable energy sources. Moreover, he stated that the visit of the Georgetown University delegation for the first time came at the right time. His Excellency also welcomed the graduates of Georgetown University and Prince Sultan University and workers at the legal sector in the Kingdom. He stressed that the aim of this meeting is to build bridges of communication between the legal communities and activate them with strategic relationships that serve all aspects.
