This course is designed to engage students with the basic concepts, theories, and issues in the study of business administration. Students will learn about how business organizations function to achieve the business goals, how they interact with the dynamic business environment, and how these business organizations are managed. This interactive course will focus on business systems, business environments, business in global markets, types of business organizations, entrepreneurship and small business, management and leadership, production and operations management, human resource management, marketing and business finance and accounting. The discussion of different issues will also be supported and reinforced by real-life examples and cases from domestic and international business world. This fundamental course will be beneficial to the subsequent study of specialized subjects.
